SCOREs — Blackjack Rules

What effect do Blackjack rules have?

Let us take a quick look at the common rules. Four sets of SCOREs are presented for a six-deck game with a bet spread of 1 to 12 units. First Hit on 17. Then Stand on 17. Then add Double after Split. And finally add Late Surrender. As we can see the differences are dramatic. An H17 shoe game is generally unplayable at a bet spread of 1-12 — unless the penetration is excellent.

I would have added the Early Surrender rule, available very rarely these days — but it would make you weep for the past.

What about single-deck Blackjack?

I had to show the same numbers for single-deck. Alas, S17, DAS, LS at single-deck is a distant memory.
